Ms Brady’s Junior Infants are delighted to share some very exciting news - the chicks have hatched!
Over the past few weeks, the children have been carefully watching the eggs in the incubator and learning all about the life cycle of a chick. This week, we had great excitement when we welcomed our fluffy new arrivals.
This has been a wonderful hands-on learning experience for the class as we have learned about how animals grow and how to look after the chicks now that they have hatched. The children have been very inquisitive and have loved checking on the eggs each day.
A special thanks to Ciara Clarke who very kindly donated the eggs and incubator and has been a great help to Ms Brady over the past few days.
